OW2 Progress review and ObjectWeb v2 workshop- September 19-22, 2006, Beijing, China

A collaboration meeting will be held between Orientware and ObjectWeb in Beijing from septembre 19 to september 22. During this meeting the teams shall review the progress of the collaborative R&D workgroups and meet with experts of the 863 programme and MOST to discuss further steps of the cooperation in the framework of ObjectWeb v2.

Open Source forum - June 23, 2006, Dalian, China

This forum was jointly organized by ObjectWeb and Orientware consortia, with the support of the Dalian IT industry international exchange association, the French Ministry of Industry, and MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology) China. This seminar gathered french leaders in open source software and counterparts from China, as well as Chinese officials and industry attendees. ObjectWeb Architecture Meeting, June 12 2006, Lille, France

02:00PM-04:00PM, Council Room: Workshop on ObjectWeb and Orientware cooperation - In this session, a discussion will be initiated about the projects that Orientware brought to ObjectWeb and about the collaboration opportunities between both consortia. Orientware is a Chinese consortium dedicated to middleware. ObjectWeb and Orientware signed in November 2005 a Memorandum Of Understanding on open source software to promote the development of joint projects in this domain.
